Elon Musk, 'Free Speech' drummer! Can't stand the criticism

The sale of Twitter is the biggest news on Twitter at the moment. Its buyer billionaire Elon Musk is in great discussion. People are asking him different types of questions, especially about free speech. It was Allen who said that he is a big advocate of 'free speech'. So big that he wants his critics to be Twitter too.

But in the meantime, many people questioned Elon Musk's business model to his intentions. Some asked that if Elon Musk really wants to work for humanity, then why did he not spend a huge amount of Rs 3.36 lakh crore towards climate change. At the same time, some asked why such an amount was not used to eliminate inequality and poverty from the world.

Now the interesting thing is that Elon Musk, who trumpeted free speech, invited his critics on Twitter, did not like these tweeters and blocked him. There has been a separate debate about whether Elon Musk really respects people's freedom of speech.

By the way, by blocking someone's Twitter ID, it cannot be said that their freedom of speech can be violated. However, the questions raised by these people on Elon Musk can definitely be discussed.

Block whom? After Elon Musk bought Twitter, the US-based non-governmental and non-profit organization Public Citizen made several tweets one after the other. He said that there is no need to trust big companies, they need to be held accountable. The organization wrote in its tweet,

Don't trust Elon Musk. Nor on Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella. Regulate them. Hold them accountable. End their monopoly.

At the same time, in another tweet, Public Citizen wrote, 'Imagine if $44 billion (Rs 3.36 lakh crore) would have been spent in saving this earth from climate change instead of buying this bird app.'

Changing tone of Elon Musk!,
This discussion would not have happened if Elon Musk had not said this in one of his tweets on April 25, just before buying Twitter, "I hope the person who criticizes me the most is also on Twitter, because that's what free speech means." But the very next day, Musk's tone changed. In another tweet on April 26, Musk said that by 'free speech' he meant that he should be allowed to say what is right according to the law. He changed his words and said, By “free speech”, I simply mean that which matches the law. I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law. If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect. Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people. — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) April 26, 2022
